Fees & Insurance
Center Psychology session rates are comparable to other doctorate level psychologists in the New York area. Our rates vary depending on the service you are seeking. Please contact us to learn more.
We work with patients who have BCBS, Cigna, United, and many other popular insurance carriers as an out-of-network provider. Although we do not accept insurance directly, we can submit directly to your insurance company the documentation you need to receive reimbursement for services. Many insurance plans provide partial reimbursement for out-of-network mental health services, and coverage for our services will vary depending on your insurance provider.
Please contact your insurance company directly to determine your out-of-network coverage for outpatient psychotherapy. Below are helpful questions to ask your insurance provider to determine your out-of-network benefits:
Do I need a referral from my primary care physician to see a mental health professional?
Do I need pre-approval from my insurance company before I can see a mental health professional?
What is my coverage for out-of-network providers?
What is my yearly maximum benefit (dollar amount or number of visits)?
Is there a deductible?
You may cancel up to 48-business hours (Monday-Friday, 9am-5pm) in advance of your scheduled appointment. If you do not provide 48-business hours notice, or do not arrive for your appointment, you will be charged the full fee of the session.
