Center Psychology Group in New York City is currently accepting applications for a licensed or limited permit clinical/counseling psychologist specializing in trauma-informed psychotherapy. Center Psychology Group is a small team of doctoral-level therapists dedicated to providing affirming, culturally responsive psychotherapy services to New Yorkers. Dr. Pria Alpern founded the practice in 2020 with the mission to provide integrative trauma-informed psychotherapy services that blend psychodynamic interventions with Eye Movement Desensitization and Reprocessing (EMDR), and Somatic Experiencing (SE) techniques. The practice has quickly become one of the most distinguished treatment centers for adults seeking EMDR and integrative trauma therapy in New York City.
We are looking to hire a psychologist who is a licensed or limited permit holder in New York state (PhD/PsyD eligible).The ideal candidate will be passionate about the treatment of trauma and related disorders and will receive training in EMDR (training cost covered by the practice). Psychologist will be expected to build a caseload of approximately 18-25 therapy clients who will be seen in person (at our Brooklyn or Manhattan offices) and/or virtually.
This is a fee for service, W2 position. Compensation is competitive, with a pay range of approximately $140,000-$200,000 annually, depending on caseload size. Benefits include excellent health, dental, and vision benefits, 401k, and professional development support.
