Pria Alpern, Ph.D.

Dr. Alpern completed her B.A. in Psychology and Art History, magna cum laude, at Georgetown University. She completed her Ph.D. in Clinical Psychology at Long Island University, Brooklyn Campus. She trained at Mount Sinai Hospital. Dr. Alpern’s postdoctoral fellowship at the Rosemary Furman Counseling Center at Barnard College included specializations in late adolescence, early adulthood, and trauma.

Nirit Gordon, Ph.D.

Dr. Gordon has specialized training in trauma treatment, parenting, and young adulthood. In her clinical work, she integrates relationship-focused, trauma-informed treatment with evidence-based techniques, including EMDR. Dr. Gordon has trained in multiple settings both in Israel and in New York City treating adults and adolescents, including City College Counseling Center, Mt. Sinai St. Luke’s Trauma-Focused Program, Women’s Health Project and The National Institute for the Psychotherapies (NIP).
