Julia Rosenfeld, M.A. is currently pursuing her doctorate in Clinical Psychology at Long Island University Brooklyn. She earned her masters in Psychology from Pepperdine University and her BA in Psychology and History from Brown University. Julia is in her third year of clinical training, having worked at Memorial Sloan Kettering Cancer Center and the LIU Psychological Services Center before beginning EMDR work at Center Psychology Group.
Clinically, she is interested in working with individuals who have experienced trauma, as well as those navigating attachment issues and relational difficulties. Her work is grounded in a psychodynamic framework, while also drawing on trauma-informed care and mindfulness practices. She works to create an atmosphere where clients can deepen their self-understanding, process painful experiences, and build more meaningful connections with others.
In addition to her clinical work, Julia researches how digital culture shapes mind and behavior, with a focus on the ways the internet influences identity, relationships, and emotional life. Outside of psychology, she is passionate about creative projects including podcasting, graphic design, and music, which inform her perspective on storytelling and self-expression.
